Warehouse Manager – Pinetown. 

An exciting opportunity presents itself to a seasoned Warehouse Manager within the Chemical / Manufacturing industry based in Pinetown. The overall scope of this position is to manage and oversee all warehouse activities, maximizing productivity and service levels.

A Few duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to;

• Maintain warehouse safety, security, inventory control and efficiency
• Organize and manage storage of stock optimizing space utilization
• The Warehouse Manager will be required to assist the National Warehouse Manager as well as the Logistics Manager, where required
• Fleet Maintenance, ensuring daily checks are completed by drivers, investigate any issues on the checklist as well as being responsible for any repairs and services on vehicles
• Ensure warehouse safety and protocol at all times

Qualifications and experience

• Matric
• Tertiary qualification in business, management, logistics or related field is preferred
• Previous experience in IR is not negotiable
• Route planning and fleet maintenance experience required
• Minimum 3-5 years in a managerial role
