Regional Retail Sales Manager

We are urgently seeking an experienced REGIONAL RETAIL SALES MANAGER (WHOLESALE INDUSTRY) for a well-established wholesale company based in the Mobeni area, Durban, KwaZulu-Natal.

• Grade 12.

• Valid driver’s license / own reliable vehicle.

• Strong computer skills (MS Office, Email / Internet).

• Business / Marketing Degree or equivalent experience.

• 5yrs+ previous working experience of retail sales management experience.

• Previous working experience in a wholesale shopping environment would be beneficial.

• Previous experience in developing brand and marketing strategies.

• Previous experience with multi-channel marketing strategies (including planning and execution).

• Track record of developing and implementing marketing communications plans that have produced significant, impactful and measurable ROI results (portfolio of evidence).

• Strong background in customer acquisition and retention strategies.

• Previous experience in managing and leading teams.

• Person will be required to assist the store managers in driving the stores forward through sales and marketing ideas and initiatives; and will oversee strategic retail initiatives that will support the development of growth plans and profitability goals within the company.

• Duties include sales and marketing, budget and financial management, stakeholder engagement and management, inventory management.

Person will be required to work every Saturday. As a Senior Manager he/she may be required to work longer hours when necessary.

Person must be willing to travel when requested (petrol costs will be reimbursed).

Salary R25 000 – R35 0000
