Customs Clerk

Introduction

Our client in the shipping industry is looking for a Customs Clerk, to be based at their Durban operations.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Frame Import & Export Entries (WE / XIB / XRW / XES / ZIB / ZRW / ZES / RIT / EAS / DP)
• Knowledge of Bonded Cargo
• Knowledge of acquittal process and procedures
• Bond register update
• Writing off values / qty off bond register against each XES processed
• Customs rules and regulations
• DA70
• Motivational typing of letters if penalties from SARS

Desired Experience & Qualification

• 5 years’ customs clearances experience in Customs Entrys and bond registrations
